Crushed concrete has many uses, for both minor and major projects. It’s an affordable way to improve your property, from creating a small patio area to making a beautiful addition to your landscape.

Typically made from recycled materials, crushed concrete is an environmentally friendly way to spruce up your property.

Create a Path or Walkway

1An easy way to enhance your landscape is with a walkway or path. It allows for gentle curves, it can be as freeform and creative as you want.

Aggregate and Drainage

Crushed concrete is perfect for those wet areas in your yard. Just dig a trench where water accumulates on your property, lay some crushed concrete, then a PVC drainage pipe, some more concrete, then replace the soil. Problem solved.

Raised Garden Beds

There are many benefits of a raised garden bed, improved soil, drainage, and germination, it also makes your landscape look amazing. And it’s easy, just frame out a space, spread crushed concrete so that it is about 2 or 3 inches evenly across the bed. Add mulch or top soil on top of the concrete, till just below the boarder, and then plant flowers or vegetables.

“Raised beds are beneficial because the deep, loose soil helps roots develop more quickly. Strong roots means healthier leaves and fruit as well as fewer disease and pest problems,” HGTV.
